Museum of Fine Arts Sevilla:
Juan de Oviedo made this building in the 1700s before it became a museum. This edifice is laid out around three patios and it is known as the old ´La Merced´ convent. Masterpieces painted by artists such as ´Zurbarán´, ´Velázquez´, ´Valdés Leal´or ´El Greco´are displayed in this museum. Also the collection of paintings by ´Murillo´, found in the abbey´s church, is of special interest.

Regional Archaeological Museum of Sevilla:
This museum was built in a neo-renaissantist style and was designed by Anibal Gonzalez for the 1929 Latin American international exhibition. This building includes Roman treasures such as Oriental pieces as well as a Tartessian treasure found in ´Itálica´, a town quite close to Seville.

Archaeological Ensemble of Italica:
Archaeological remains of the Italica civilization are found in the village of Santiponce, close to Seville. The antique Roman amphitheatres as well as the neighbourhood of Hadrian are found nearby; they include beautiful mosaics and sculptures.

Bullfighting Museum (Museo Taurino)
One of the most famous icons of traditional Spanish culture is bullfighting, which is what this museum shows such as lots of art forms related to this art including sculptures made by Benlliure and a cape that Picasso painted.

Cathedral Museum (Museo Catedralicio)
If you are interested in religious art, you should visit this museum. Located in the cathedral´s antechamber, chapel and sacristy halls, this museum has a great collection of religious attire, relics, paintings, jewels and gold work.

Contemporary Art Museum (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo)
This Museum has halls devoted to temporary displays as well as a permanent collection; it is located in the ´Cartuja´, also called the Monastry of ´Santa María de las Cuevas´ (the Madonna of the Coves).
